Potato Day 2012

It is getting around to that time of year when we plan our seeds etc. for next year. 4th March is a date for your diary, which will help with this. As ever, we'll have one of the widest selections in the UK of seed potatoes for sale as well as numerous other essentials for the coming gardening year.

There will be a various trade stalls and information stalls where you can pick up other garden related items as well as wholesome food, and experts to ask about your garden problems and ideas. You'll also be able to rest your feet and refresh the inner person at the potato themed café.

After several years of holding our prices, regretfully, we are going to have to increase our prices to 14p a tuber. This still compares very favourably indeed with the cost of buying from commercial outlets, with the added bonus that you buy just the quantity you want rather than having to pay for fixed size bags that often have more in than you can really find room for. And, of course, you get access to varieties that are very difficult to source through normal channels. Find out which varieties we've ordered by opening the .pdf at the bottom of this page.

Entrance will remain at £1 (children free) for a great day out with loads of things to buy and find out about.

There are two versions of the poster attached below, one is A4 size and the other is 2 A5 size posters on one page. We'd be very grateful if you could print one of the out and display it in you window, local hall, shop, pub etc.
