The Centre Terre Vivante lies about 40 miles south of Grenoble in the French Alps. It consists of a "negawatt" house, a restaurant, organic gardens both vegetable and floral, a wild area, demonstrations of composting, water conservation and eco building materials, a picnic and children's play area. My talk will be illustrated with slides.
