"Minto Glen is part of the old Minto estate, at one time the walled vegetable garden of Minto House. All that now remains are around 50 espalier fruit trees, apples, pears, plums and cherries, and a few ancient but still productive currant bushes. The garden is surrounded by 37 acres of woodland."

We will be visiting two BOG members' gardens. The first is in Belford where they have succeeded in creating a lovely garden in a former quarry. The second is in Ellingham where our advice is sought on ways of developing an area which is lawned at the moment. Bring a contribution to a shared tea at Eglingham.
